Kano resting after several days of forced retreat from SL ("stuck" Lindens
called it ..).
Here the saving instructions ( which i had to repeat several times before
succeeding) :
On Windows XP
1. Open C:\Documents and Settings\(yourusername)\Local Settings and delete
the contents of your Temp folder.
2. Open C:\Documents and Settings\(yourusername)\Application Data\Second
Life and delete the contents of the Cache folder.
3. Uninstall Second Life using the Add/Remove Programs tool in your Windows
Control Panel.
--> Reboot
4. Visit
http://secondlife.com/download and download and install the latest
release. (or choose Emetald ;)
On Windows Vista
Open C:\Users\(yourusername)\AppData\Loc
