Bletaverse FAQ

Q: How can i set my profile picture on Bletaverse? I cannot find the place where i can upload my profile image.

A: The profile picture is taken from your Second Life account automatically. We decided not to make upload available because we want your profile image be synchronous with your Second Life profile picture. Make sure you have the option "Show in search" enabled. You can enable this option on your profile window within Second Life. Please note that it can take up to 24h to show your profile picture on Bletaverse.

Q: How can i post images to my Bletaverse Blog? I did not find an upload form.

A: Currently you can post images by using the Second Life's integrated snapshot function only. We decided to do so because we want real Second Life photos on the Blogs only. In Second Life click menu "File"->"Take Snapshot". Select "Send via email" and set image size to 640x480 and image quality to 75%. Send it to pic[at]bletaverse.com ([at]->@). Use the subject as post title and the message as post text.

Q: I tried to post an image on my Bletaverse Blog several times. It never showed up. Why?

A: You probably have set the image quality too high. Please set the image quality to 75% and the resolution to 640x480 if you have problems with posting images to your Bletaverse Blog. Please note that sometimes images do not arrive due Second Life lag.

Q: I have lost my Bletaverse password. How can i restore it?

A: In Second Life wear the Bletaverse HUD. The HUD tells you your password. Did you know: you can use the yellow button on the HUD to login your blog automatically.
