Jan and I are browsing at a very interesting shop. Lots of cool gadgets. I
especially like the Jukebox. They also have some really cool bots. Friday, 6 Feb 2009
Here I am at Sandcastle Studios looking over their new Valentine Pack. I
love the bear and the candies look yummy. Really awesome sculptie work, here. I hope to see (and buy!) more of it. Thursday, 5 Feb 2009

I just go a new traffic cone from Jan and the Bletaverse folks. For the
longest time, we were beta testing the cone. I've been amazed about how well the cone does its job. The traffic for my place sky rocketed. Thanks to all my visitors. Without the cone, I'm fairly sure my little workshop would just float around in obscurity! Saturday, 10 Jan 2009
This is Swwig which is short for Semantic Web Workshop Intelligent Guide.
Swwig runs the ALICE program. Swwig is artificial intelligence in that he can carry on a conversation with you. Basically you just start chatting with Swwig asking questions. Swwig may ask you some questions, too! Swwig is trainable and I'll begin to start teaching him everything I know about the Semantic Web. We both are going to have alot of fun learning new things!
This is Digital DNA Probe on what I think is CSI's island. The probe has a
hook over to pandorabots.com and is therefore a Pandorabot. Pandorabots run the A.L.I.C.E program. ALICE is based on AIML and is considered "artificial intelligence" in that you can carry on a conversation with the bot. I am investigating AIML use in Second Life. This looks very promising form my work with the Semantic Web. Tuesday, 6 Jan 2009
Showing off a little bit new content. You can follow me on Twitter.
http://twitter.com/slholmes - Got a link in the workshop now. Also I added a new table of common logic symbols in the slide show. I'll try to post more interesting things in the slide show as soon as possible. Monday, 5 Jan 2009
I put a new bulletin board in. A bit easier to use. But I still need a
product that lets you drop a note card in that other people besides the owner can see. Let me know if you know of such a product. Needs to be LOW Prim though. Thursday, 1 Jan 2009
Been working on the introduction to the Semantic Web tutorial during the
holiday season. Jan's been working hard on the next release of the tutorial presentation system YourTutorial. It now allows tutorials to extend beyond one page and supports Unicode. Wednesday, 31 Dec 2008
Here at the workshop.

Jan came by my workshop yesterday. He's been working on a new release of
YourTutorial presentation system. The console screen looks fantastic now. Some enhancements he made are: * Scrolling pages (up/down arrows on the console) * Support for Unicode - (note the IRI in the pic with Kanji chars) * Larger font size. These changes simplifies writing the tutorials somewhat. Before, trying to squeeze intro material onto one page was difficult. Now I have the option to go onto more detail if necessary.
